Crowded Agenda in December for Congress
|The month of December will be particularly busy for Congress as they face multiple deadlines before adjourning business for the holiday season. In addition to facing a December 8 deadline to fund federal programs in order to avoid a government shutdown, tax reform and other key agenda items are also crowding the agenda.
Some of the key issues Congress will work on this month, include:
House Introduces Higher Education Act Reauthorization Bill
|On Friday, December 1, House Education and Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) introduced the Promoting Real Opportunity, Success, and Prosperity through Education Reform (PROSPER) Act.
