Through purpose, power, and passion, the National League for Nursing boasts a remarkable past, an exceptional present, and a shared, transformative future.
With purpose, power, and passion, we bring the League’s mission and core values to life. We animate caring, integrity, diversity, and excellence and promote excellence in nursing education to build a strong and diverse workforce to advance the health of our nation. Purpose, power, and passion give resonance to our identity as the voice for nursing education, as the premier organization for nurse faculty and leaders in nursing education. And through these attributes, we are building the NLN Home for Transformative Excellence.
Our vision for the future encompasses an historic move to a new home in our nation’s capital and the development of seven NLN Centers for Nursing Education. Not centers in the bricks and mortar sense, they are a way of organizing our thinking and framing our work, a way to continue to lead in the areas we believe are crucial to the future of nursing and nursing education.
To bring our plans to fruition, to achieve our NLN Home for Transformative Excellence in Nursing Education.
Washington, DC, the NLN has initiated a capital campaign. And, just as we turn to you to advocate for our mission and core values, we hope you will support this campaign. Help us continue to thrive locally and globally, not only to the benefit of nurse educators but to the benefit of the students we teach and the millions of patients they care for over the course of their professional lives.
